As a visual storyteller, creating paintings and dioramas has been my lifelong practice.

Telling a story with a brush, paint, models, and composition is an infinitely challenging game. Working color, shape, form, and light into an elegant narrative is a never-ending puzzle. When it all snaps together, it’s enormously satisfying.

When I tell my business clients that the visuals I make for them share much in common with painting and dioramas, they are usually dubious. But when they see my “other” work, like what you see below, people instantly get it.

I do this work on commission, often for the same clients who hire me for strategy projects.

In all this work, whether for business, life, or visual enjoyment, I’m striving to make a complex concept as clear and meaningful as I possibly can.
